Ahead of The New Year, Regent Nina Agustina Bans ASN Leave and Leave The City

INDRAMAYU. AsiaTimesNews — Approaching the turn of the new year 2022, all State Civil Apparatuses (ASN) within the Indramayu Regency Government are prohibited from traveling outside the region and taking leave during Christmas 2021 and New Year. The ban will take effect from December 24, 2021 to January 2, 2022.

This decision is based on the Circular of the Regent of Indramayu No. 060/2942/Org. Regarding Restrictions on Traveling Outside the Region and Leave for ASN Employees During the 2021 Christmas Period and 2022 New Years During the Covid-19 Pandemic Period.

The exceptions include ASN who are traveling outside the region in the context of carrying out official duties who have obtained a Letter of Assignment signed by an Echelon II Official or the head of a regional apparatus.

Then, the ASN is forced to carry out travel activities outside the region, maternity leave, sick leave and leave for important reasons. This exception must first obtain written permission from the head of the relevant regional apparatus.

Plus, there is an Omicron variant, so it is appropriate for ASN in Indramayu Regency to comply with the ban on traveling outside the region and on leave set by the regional government in an effort to minimize the increase in Covid-19 cases during Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022.

Indramayu Regent Nina Agustina Da’i Bachtiar in her social media post said that the regional government together with elements of the Indramayu Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) recently attended a virtual Coordination Meeting (Rakor) with the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) which was attended by the Governor and regional heads. . The coordination meeting discussed the handling of Covid-19 during Nataru and the handling of the Omicron variant.

“Omicron variants must be watched out for, because this variant has more severity, compared to other types. So it must be taken seriously by all of us,” he explained.

In her post, Regent Nina Agustina asked that during the Nataru period the community was asked to continue to apply the health protocols (Prokes) in carrying out their daily activities.

“Indramayu residents who are active outside the home make sure that with the implementation of health procedures, take care of themselves for their families at home,” he said. (Oyib/MTQ–Indramayu Diskominfo Publication Team).
